Yes. The course is part of SendPulse Academy and free for everyone. You don't need a paid plan to enroll or earn the certificate.
Do I need a paid SendPulse plan to apply what I learn?
You can register a free SendPulse account and follow most of the course. To run a WhatsApp chatbot in your own account, you'll need one of the paid chatbot plans.
Do I need any technical background?
No. The course is built for business users. The flow builder is fully visual, and the only places we touch anything close to code are the optional API Request, Make, and n8n lessons.

I took this course before. Is it worth retaking?
Yes. The 2026 version covers the new per-message billing model, AI agents, MCP servers, CRM and Automation integration, Goal events, and Click-to-WhatsApp ads — none of which existed in the previous version.
What WhatsApp account do I need to start?
A phone number that isn't currently linked to a personal WhatsApp account. You can use a new number or connect your existing WhatsApp Business App number to the API through SendPulse.
